viewsWe are excited to announce that E-International Relations will be attending the 2025 British International Studies Association (BISA) Conference in Belfast from 1720 June and this year, were doing something special. Alongside participating in the roundtable on open access publishing in international studies, sponsored by theEuropean Journal of International Security, in which E-International Relations own Marianna Karakoulaki and Kieran OMeara will be contributing, we are bringing theThinking Globalpodcast to the conference.
What is our goal? We are going to open-up the conversation in Belfast and bring the conference to you, wherever you are. We have been given a dedicated space within the main exhibition hall where any conference attendee from undergraduates, doctoral students and early-career researchers to tenured professors and practitioners can drop by and join us for a chat about their work. Whether youre presenting a paper, chairing a panel, or just soaking in the atmosphere, we would love to hear what brings you to BISA, what youre working on, and why it matters.
Our podcast episodes will bring you the highlights of proceedings and a mixture of the conversations we have had in the exhibition hall. So, if you see us, come say hello! Whether youve got a new idea to share, had a book/article come out, or just want to talk about your experience at the conference, we want to hear from you and feature you in an episode ofThinking Global.
Were grateful to BISA for supporting this initiative and are proud to help mark the associations 50th anniversary by doing what E-International Relations does best: connecting the discipline with the world. We hope to see you in Belfast!
