Northern Ireland public urged to take part in air quality survey
Date published:
The Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) is calling on members of the public to take part in a survey launched today which aims to identify what people in Northern Ireland know about the air they breathe.
The survey consists of 23 questions to see what the public really know about the health impacts of air pollution and the major sources of this pollution.
The survey has been launched ahead of Clean Air Day on 19 June 2025.
By taking part in the survey, participants will help DAERA identify any knowledge gaps in relation to air pollution, which the department can then address through the development of specific policies, measures, initiatives and campaigns.
The survey is open until 11 August 2025 and takes approximately five to 10 minutes to complete. Participation is anonymous and all responses will be treated with confidentiality.
