CO FERMANAGH, Northern Ireland - Tributes are pouring in following the shooting death of two people early Wednesday at a home in a village in County Fermanagh.
Police are still at the scene of the shooting described as being within the Drummeer Road area of the small village of Maguiresbridge.
"We can confirm two people have died, and two people are being treated in hospital for serious injuries," a statement by the Police Service of Northern Ireland released on Wednesday said.
"We can advise there is no ongoing risk to the public," the statement added.
Among those to pay tribute was former DUP leader Arlene Foster. The news from Maguiresbridge this morning is devastating beyond words. I am so very sorry for the family involved and praying for all impacted by this horrific act," she posted on X.
